Digital transformation is based on extensive data collection and analysis. However what is should be crucial is the role of human beings in the current digital revolution: humans need to be the protagonist of the new wave of digital transformation. Technology should be at the service of human beings and not vice-versa. I work on Human Centred Digital Transformation. This also apply to digital marketing, where together with my colleague and friend Luca Triacca we developed Tabula21, a digital marketing tool designed to simplify and enhance brainstorming, strategy development, and content planning for businesses. It offers a structured approach through three main tools: the Strategic Canvas, Journey Canvas, and Editorial Plan.

Experience design is the practice of creating meaningful and engaging interactions for users by considering their needs, emotions, and behaviours throughout their entire journey with a product, service, or environment. Experience designers aim to evoke positive emotions, foster user satisfaction, and build strong brand loyalty by ensuring that every interaction aligns with the user's expectations and desires and the brand’s desired outcomes. Successful experience design integrates elements like storytelling, visual design, psychology, and technology to create experiences that are not only functional but also emotionally compelling.

Regenerative Hospitality is an emerging paradigm that transcends traditional sustainability in the hotel industry, focusing on systemic ecological and social renewal. Unlike sustainability standards that aim for net-zero impact, regenerative hospitality seeks a net-positive outcome, actively contributing to the health of natural and social ecosystems. The concept is built on two key ideas: the Regenerative Mindshift, which advocates for an inner transformation among hospitality professionals, and the Ecosystem Approach, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of hotels, communities, and the environment. Rather than following checklists or standards, regenerative hospitality encourages a deeper responsibility towards fostering long-term positive impacts through thoughtful design and operation. This approach can be applied across all types and sizes of hospitality businesses, aiming to create innovative, viable, and purpose-driven experiences that benefit both guests and the broader community.
Regenerative hospitality is a paradigm shift for the hospitality industry. It is about net-positive impact of hospitality firms.
